Liz and Josh,
Congratulations!!! You survived your first parenting crisis! I can guarantee there will be more, but you passed with flying colors! What a beauty! God's blessing to you three!

Hi. Just found your blog browsing the web. I am a pastor's wife and mom of 4 kiddos. Just wanted to give you a bit of advice (Now that you're a mom you'll be getting lots of it, whether you like it or not LOL) The tongue clipping thing, follow your gut on whether or not to pursue it. My son is 7 years old now and is also tongue-tied. He was my best breastfeeder of them all. His speech is 100% perfect. The dentist told us he may need to get it clipped now because it could affect how his teeth grow in, but I am now content to have a "wait and see" attitude. If your dd is doing fine you may want to wait to see if she needs it clipped later. BUT I have heard that the procedure is really minor and no big deal, so you may decide to go ahead with it. Anyway I just wanted to put in my 2 cents and give you another opinion. Congrats on your beautiful daughter.
